As you get closer to end of Elden Ring’s second act, you’ll reach the area around the Royal Capital before entering the city itself. As you’d expect, both zones are full of even more bosses to take on. Below is a list of all the bosses in both areas, in alphabetical order.

Bell Bearing Hunter
There are several iterations of the Bell Bearing Hunter in Elden Ring — here’s the boss guide on how to beat them. This particular one appears at the Hermit Merchant’s Shack along the northern wall of the area. Go there at night, and he’ll invade.
Crucible Knight & Crucible Knight Ordovis
Auriza Hero’s Grave is tucked in the eastern corner of the outskirts, by the city wall. This deadly duo are the boss encounter at the end of the dungeon. See the entrance marked above.
Deathbird
There are four Deathbirds in Elden Ring, and this one is arguably the deadliest. It’s found east of the aforementioned Hermit Merchant’s Shack. Head to the spot at night, and it’ll fly in for a fight.
Draconic Tree Sentinel
This is a fire-breathing variant of the Tree Sentinel, and it guards the eastern rampart to the city. It’s a tougher version of the boss, but luckily it can be cheesed.
Fell Twins
There are plenty of Fell Omens in The Lands Between, but this pair is particularly nasty. They’ll ambush you as you cross the bridge to the Divine Tower of East Altus.
Grave Warden Duelist
This is the second boss of this type in the game, and it’s found at the end of the Auriza Side Tomb. The dungeon entrance is marked above.
Onyx Lord
Likewise, the Onyx Lord is the boss of the Sealed Tunnel dungeon, sitting on the opposite side of the city.
All boss locations in Leyndell, Royal Capital
Esgar, Priest of Blood / Mohg, the Omen
The Leyndell Catacombs are basically a dungeon, within a dungeon, within a dungeon. First you’ll have to reach the Subterranean Shunning Grounds (entrance marked above). From the Underground Roadside Site of Grace, head southeast into the room with all the pipes. You want to drop down to very bottom and look for the crack in the wall in the southern corner — that’s the dungeon entrance (indicated below). Note that this area, and Esgar himself, will still be available when the capital is destroyed in the endgame.
Similarly, this location houses a projection of the true Mohg, Lord of Blood. It’s found in the lowest chamber of the Subterranean Shunning Grounds. Like Esgar, this boss will still be available when the capital is destroyed in the endgame. Here’s how to beat him.
Godfrey, First Elden Lord
This is an unmissable story boss. This projection of the true Godfrey appears inside the Erdtree Sanctuary, marked above. It’s at the top of the Erdtree root in the southern part of the city.
Morgott, the Omen King
Another story boss, Morgott appears at the steps to the Elden Throne. You’ll encounter him right after beating Godfrey and passing by the Queen’s Bedchamber. He’s a souped-up, real version of Margit, the Fell Omen, so here’s how to beat him in the tougher fight.
